iNet Marketeers Ltd, trading as SaidTrue, is the controller for personal data processed by SaidTrue. Contact us at hello@saidtrue.com or privacy@saidtrue.com.
What we collect and why
Scan inputs such as business name, category, town, region and website are used to create an AI reputation scorecard. These are usually business details, but where they identify a sole trader we treat them as personal data. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest: helping businesses inspect and correct what AI systems say about them.
Email addresses are used for transactional confirmation and report delivery under legitimate interest and performance of the requested service. Marketing consent is optional and versioned; if you tick the marketing box we rely on consent for product updates.
We store a salted hash of IP addresses for abuse prevention and free-scan limits. We do not store the raw IP address for that purpose.
AI providers
Scans query third-party AI providers and search-grounding services. Scan inputs may be sent to OpenAI, Google/Gemini, Perplexity and Anthropic so they can answer the probe questions. Their own privacy policies also apply.
Processors
We use Resend for email, Cloudflare for DNS/CDN/email routing, SmarterASP for hosting, and AI providers including OpenAI, Google, Perplexity and Anthropic for scan processing.
Retention
Scan and probe data is retained as the product record unless removal is requested. Marketing consent is retained until withdrawn. Suppression records are retained as long as needed to honour opt-outs and prevent repeat sends. Logs are retained for operational troubleshooting.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, or withdraw marketing consent by emailing privacy@saidtrue.com or hello@saidtrue.com. Business owners can request scorecard removal at removal@saidtrue.com.
International transfers
Some processors and AI providers may process data outside the UK or EEA under appropriate safeguards.
Cookies
SaidTrue does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Cookies are limited to strictly necessary login/session cookies for admin and account access.
